Community-wide Study during Lent
During our Lent season Cornerstone is hosting a community wide study of A Jesus Shaped Life – Forty Days Toward Christ-likeness by Steve Cordle. We are offering twelve Life Groups all over the Cypress community for you to get involved and reconnect with God and with others. Check out all the relevant information below.
- 4 church life groups
- 5 neighborhood life groups
- 1 online/zoom life group
Everyone is welcome! You don’t have to be regular church person, a theological guru, or a deeply spiritual person to participate. Just come ready to make some friends and share the journey.
Our study kicks off on Ash Wednesday, March 2. Life Groups will begin the following week. Be sure to join us on campus for…
- Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper, 3/1, 5-7 pm (bring kiddos at 4 pm for bouncy castle)
- Ash Wednesday worship, 3/2, 7 pm.
- Sunday Worship, 10.30 am every Sunday.

Want to dig deeper? Join a Life Group! Really, this is the best way to grow in faith. Why? Mainly because God made us to need each other. And when we study God’s word with others, asking what it means for our lives, several things happen…
1. We realize we are not alone. There are others on this journey with us.
2. The collective wisdom from interacting with others is much more than we might get from other sources.
3. When others are encouraging us on, we have greater staying power to overcome things in life.
