Worship on Campus
Come as you are
We have no pretenses at Cornerstone. Everyone is welcome as they are… the good, the bad, the ugly.
What do I wear? Whatever you want!! Within reason of course. Lol. Though typical dress for most is business casual, we welcome whatever you feel comfortable wearing. You’ll see folks in jeans and button-downs, shorts and t-shirts as well.
Will I be called out as a visitor? Absolutely not! We believe everyone is on a different point in their journey with God. Some visitors enjoy connecting immediately – with people and ministry opportunities. Some visitors would rather remain anonymous until they are ready to be known. Where ever you find yourself, we will respect that. We do offer a Connection Card in worship for those who would like more information.
Campus
Our campus has three buildings…
Worship Center. Where we meet for worship. Arrive a few minutes early and enjoy our fellowship time with coffee and refreshments. Our nursery is located right outside the worship center.
Education Building & Office. Our Education Building is attached to the Worship Center building. A school during the weekday, it houses our children’s and adult Sunday School classes on Sunday. The church office is just inside the main door.
Family Life Center. Fully equipped for basketball and volleyball games, there is much more here too. Our youth and confirmation classes meet here. There is a modest kitchen. And we have plenty of church meals here.

Worship Style
We don’t make a big deal about “style.” It’s just not our thing. But you may have noticed we are flexible in worship style. What does that mean? Well, we could say the elements involved in drawing closer to God reflect the time-tested, classic, orthodox way of worshipping, yet communicated in modern ways. It is structured, but not overly formal. It has some bits in it that may seem odd to the new-to-faith, but nobody will be lost. No one will fumble their way through books trying to figure out where we are in the service. We keep it simple, but meaningful.
Whatever the ‘style’, our goal is to enter into the very presence of God, so we can experience a fresh touch of His Grace.
Communion
We practice ‘open’ communion. That means anyone can receive communion. It is not a Methodist table. Nor is it Cornerstone’s table. It is Jesus’ table and his invitation to us to come and dine with him. It’s really that simple. You do not have to be a member, and no one will check your credentials (really, that’s not a thing at all).
Can children take communion? Absolutely. We believe communion is God’s mysterious act, and none of us knows the full meaning of it. So, each of us, no matter how young in age or young in faith, is welcome to partake. We trust that God’s grace will work through it, and we will grow in our understanding of it.
Communion is served in worship every first Sunday of the month.
