Family Ministries Director
Do you light up when a room full of kids is laughing, learning, and discovering Jesus together?
Cornerstone Methodist Church is looking for an energetic, faith-filled Family Ministries Director to lead the charge in shaping the faith of our youngest members — newborn through 5th grade — and their families. If you love big personalities, bigger smiles, and helping kids fall in love with Jesus, this is your dream role.
What You’ll Get To Do
- Lead and grow our Children’s Sunday School program (newborn through 5th grade) and Confirmation
- Help bring the energy to Spirit Squad, our Sunday evening hangout for 4th–5th graders
- Be the mastermind behind can’t-miss events — Vacation Bible School, our Family Advent Activity, Easter Fest, and Back to School Bash
- Take the mic during worship and deliver a Children’s Sermon kids actually remember
The Details
- 20 hours per week
- $25/hour
- Built on a 48-week year, with two paid weeks off (Spring Break and the week following Christmas)
Who We’re Looking For
- Someone who loves Jesus and loves children — that’s the big one
- No previous church employment required
- A track record volunteering in a thriving children’s ministry, or experience working in public schools, is a big plus
